1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of eng20w, a global online English vocabulary learning service operated by Ibtikary. By creating an account, accessing the service, or using any part of eng20w, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not create an account or use the service.
2. About eng20w
eng20w provides online English vocabulary learning tools and related educational features. The service may include vocabulary content, learning sessions, progress tracking, review activities, account features, subscriptions, and other features that may be introduced or changed over time.
3. Eligibility
eng20w is intended for users of different ages. You may use the service only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
If applicable law requires a parent or legal guardian to consent to your use of an online service, that consent must be obtained before using eng20w.
4. User Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and should notify eng20w promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You must not create an account or use the service for fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes.
5. Learning Services
eng20w is designed to support English vocabulary learning. Learning content and features may be updated, modified, expanded, or discontinued as the service develops.
Your learning progress may be stored and used to provide features such as personalized sessions, review activities, and progress information.
6. Free Trial
eng20w may provide an eligible user with a 30-day free trial.
The trial does not begin automatically when an account is created. The trial begins after the user confirms their email address and completes the required first activation.
No payment method is required to start the free trial.
Trial availability may be subject to eligibility rules and may not be available repeatedly to the same user where eng20w determines that the user has already used a trial or otherwise does not qualify.
7. Paid Subscriptions
After a free trial or when otherwise eligible, users may choose an available paid subscription plan displayed by eng20w.
The applicable price, billing period, and other material subscription details will be presented before a paid subscription is purchased.
Subscription access begins only after the payment has been successfully verified and the subscription has been activated by the eng20w service.
8. Payments
Payments for paid subscriptions are currently processed through PayPal. eng20w does not receive or store your full payment card details through its own service.
Payment transactions may be subject to PayPal's own terms, policies, and procedures. Information returned to eng20w by the payment provider may be stored as necessary to process and maintain your subscription.
9. No Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions on eng20w do not automatically renew unless eng20w explicitly states otherwise before a purchase.
When a subscription reaches its end date, continued access to paid subscription features may require a new purchase.
10. Subscription Expiration
A paid subscription ends when its subscription period reaches the applicable end date, unless the service states otherwise.
A free trial ends when the applicable trial period expires. If a trial or paid subscription expires, access to features that require an active subscription may be restricted.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use eng20w for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, or services.
- Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of eng20w.
- Copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit service content except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by eng20w.
- Use automated methods to access the service in a way that places unreasonable load on the service or bypasses access controls.
- Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with eng20w.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the eng20w website, software, interface, branding, original content, and service materials are owned by or licensed to eng20w and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for its intended personal learning purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
The eng20w name, logo, and related branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without prior permission.
13. Third-Party Services
eng20w may rely on third-party services to provide certain functionality, including authentication, hosting, storage, payment processing, or other infrastructure.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. eng20w is not responsible for the independent policies or practices of third-party services outside its control.
14. Educational Disclaimer
eng20w is an educational vocabulary learning service. Its content and learning tools are provided for educational purposes and are not a guarantee of any particular learning outcome, test result, academic result, or level of language proficiency.
You are responsible for how you use the learning materials and for evaluating whether additional educational resources are appropriate for your goals.
15. Service Availability
We aim to keep eng20w available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at every time or in every location.
Service availability may be affected by maintenance, technical issues, third-party services, network problems, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
16. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using eng20w at any time. If you no longer want to use the service, you may discontinue your account and use of the service.
eng20w may suspend or terminate access to an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties, or where an account violates these Terms or applicable law.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, eng20w may provide notice before taking such action. Certain urgent circumstances may require immediate action.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, eng20w is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis without warranties that the service will meet every particular requirement, operate without interruption, or be free from errors.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eng20w and Ibtikary will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from or related to your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or our practices.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the service or by other reasonable means. The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated in the updated version.
20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are subject to the laws and mandatory legal requirements that apply to the relationship between you and the operator of eng20w.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory rights or protections available to you under the laws that apply to you.
Before pursuing a formal dispute where appropriate, you are encouraged to contact eng20w so that the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved informally.
Important: This section intentionally does not designate a specific country, court, or arbitration forum. A specific governing-law and dispute-resolution clause should be added only after the operator's intended legal jurisdiction and applicable legal advice have been confirmed.
